There are 4 king size beds so maximum occupancy is 8 guests.

You do have access to the public Maluaka beach down in front, as well as your own pool. All guests are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to arriving at the gated residential resort. Parking is located in a separate area and you will go back and forth to your residence by golf cart only. There is no direct parking at your residence. Parking may be limited to one car - please inquire if you absolutely must bring two cars on to the property.

Guests have access to this private home and pool/yard, the parking area, and the public Maluaka Beach below. Guests will be asked to not wander about the resort property as other community spaces and amenities are a part of a separate membership club/group that this property is not a part of. The rent rate has been adjusted to accommodate for limited access and no use of the on-site golf course, clubhouses, etc.

Maximum Occupancy Including Children

8 guests maximum. Infants and toddlers under two (2) years of age at the time of occupancy, may be excluded from the total guest count. Toddlers and children age two (2) and above at the time of occupancy will be included in the total guest count. The total guest count may not exceed the stated number of persons. We reserve the right to request (and receive prior to accepting a reservation), actual written proof of birth date (month/day/year) for any toddlers or infants a family wishes to have excluded from the total guest count.

Housekeeping Services

Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens, along with soap and cleaning products. There is plenty of inventory to suffice for several days. There is a laundry room within Your Own Private Paradise residence that provides a washer/dryer, laundry soap and supplies, iron/board, sewing kit, and other generous supplies. Personal laundry, clean up in the kitchen after cooking or meals, and grill cleaning, are not performed during occupied housekeeping services, unless arranged in advance and paid for separately.

For details about the inclusive no-charge (complimentary) housekeeping services provided with your reservation, please refer to the rental cost quote provided to you at the time of first placing your reservation. You will receive information about the housekeeping schedule (dates and times) upon check in. No housekeeping service on national holidays. Inclusive housekeeping service may vary based on rate paid or length of stay or property. Limited properties provide cleaning every day. Most provide one “deep” cleaning every 3-4 days based on a minimum rental term of 6 nights at advertised rate.

Reservations with inclusive housekeeping receive the following assistance per housekeeping service:

Change bed sheets and pillow cases, re-make beds, launder linens off-site
Decorative bed pillows are placed in the closet for your convenience
Replace stocked soap and paper products and replenish toiletries
Remove trash/garbage
Change bath towels if left on the floor or in the tub to be laundered off-site
Start a wash for small towels including kitchen towels
Wipe off bathtubs, sinks and counters
Surface cleaning following by a sweep/vacuum of floors and carpets in traffic areas
Wipe off outside furniture and counters.

Beach & Ocean Access

Maluaka Beach "Turtle Town", located in Makena Maui, is a premier destination known for its calm turquoise waters soft golden sand and frequent green sea turtle sightings. From the Makena Paradise Beach Villa hop into one of two private dedicated golf carts and putter down a few blocks to the public parking area at Maluaka Beach. Beach access is open to the public and there are restrooms, showers, picnic tables and easy access to get your toes in the sand. A snorkeling sail boat leaves from the same beach and sports equipment rentals are available on site too. Feel free to use the complimentary beach towels, umbrellas, cooler, and chairs provided for your personal use in your villa.

Pool

22' x 14' infinity edge heated ocean view private pool that is belongs exclusively to your villa. Guests of Makena Paradise Beach Villa do not use the adjacent resort clubhouse pool as that's a perk for club members only.

Air Conditioning

Central air conditioning throughout with ceiling fans in every room.
Air Conditioning should never be set to cool below 70-72 or the equipment may freeze or experience any other damage. Most homes and villas in Hawaii are equipped with residential grade equipment which does not provide bottomless cooling. Cooling is available to a reasonable temperature, usually in the 70-72 range on the very low end. Most guests find that a setting of 72-74 is very comfortable once a unit has been allowed to cool down and with doors and windows closed. At select properties, the air conditioning may only function to a temperature in the 72-74 range with lower temperature settings mechanically excluded.

The Makena Golf & Beach Club golf course, tennis center, clubhouse dining, and clubhouse pool, all belong to a separate club establishment and are not accessible when staying in this residence. You do have access to the public Maluaka beach down in front, as well as your own pool. Wailea Golf Courses are almost within walking distance or less than one mile away and they offer 3 beautiful ocean view courses to enjoy nearby.
On-site security staff will direct guests of this residence away/off community property. Guests have access to this private home and pool/yard, the parking area, and the public Maluaka Beach below. Guests will be asked to not wander about the resort property as this property is not a part of the separate membership club that governs all other community spaces and amenities. The rent rate has been adjusted to accommodate for limited access.
All guests are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to arriving at the gated residential resort.
Parking is located in a separate area and you will go back and forth to your residence by golf cart only. There is no direct parking at your residence. Parking may be limited to one car - please inquire if you absolutely must bring two cars on to the property.
This home is located in a quiet residential area. Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. House Rules apply as this home is in an organized residential community. Guest visits are subject to being kind and following the House and Community Rules.
There is no cover or fence for the pool. Guests are encouraged to actively monitor all pool use and to bring any and all water safety devices they may need. Guest use of the outdoor areas including the pool is at the guest's discretion and own risk.
Ocean access may not always be safe due to varied ocean conditions. Always swim with a buddy and never turn your back to the ocean. Guests agree to use caution and common sense and to only enter the ocean when the conditions are calm. Enjoy all sports and activities at your own risk. Standard Amenities: Most villas typically will be stocked with a barbeque grill, answering machine, alarm clocks, phone, television, video cassette recorder and/or DVD, CD stereo, washer & dryer, iron & board, coffee maker & grinder, microwave, blender, toaster oven, dishwasher, oven, range, ceiling fans, hair dryer, spices & herbs, paper & pen, kitchen supplies such as cookware, glassware, silverware, outdoor furnishings, starter supply of soap, paper, cleaning products and utensils, and dining, bed and bath linens. Usually some beach chairs and towels are provided. Guests often misplace beach towels and chairs therefore an exact inventory is not guaranteed unless reserving a luxury class home. Some homes also provide iPod docks, high speed internet access, wireless networks, fax machine, espresso/cappuccino machine, exercise equipment and other upscale toys. Please inquire if a specific amenity will improve your comfort or convenience.
Amenities Not Included: Provide your own toiletries, slippers, and wrap, however Private Paradise Villas does stock in its managed homes bathrobes and custom toiletries. Recreational equipment, if found on the property is incidental, and is not a guaranteed feature of the house inventory. Boogie Boards, Snorkel Sets, Surf Boards, Kayaks, Bicycles, and other sports equipment can be rented in advance through third party providers. Please inquire with our Concierge for reservations.
Rates Include: Direct local phone, parking (except at condominiums or hotels), Concierge assistance, optional greeting upon arrival, occupancy up to the maximum number of persons allowed, weekly pool/spa service, weekly gardening, post-departure cleaning if not charged separately, extra person fees and housekeeping services as noted up to the stated maximum amount.
Rates Do Not Include: In Hawaii, homes are provided on an a-la-carte basis and most incidental personal services are not included in the rates quoted. Not included are long distance phone (unless a property offers a fixed price monthly unlimited long distance calling plan, security/damage/incidentals/activity deposit, extra guest-requested pool, spa service or yard cleaning, personal laundry, extra housekeeping other than noted, food or beverages, CSA Vacation Rental Insurance, lei greeting, airport greeting, transfers, transportation, auto rental, rental bedding, child care supplies, child proofing services, sightseeing, tours, activities, baggage handling at airport or at villa, sports and water recreation supplies, replenishment of paper & soap products other than initial supply, and any other items or services not specifically listed as included.

Rates do not include taxes: State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax (10.25%), Maui County Transient Accommodations Tax (3.0%), and the combined State of Hawaii and Maui County General Excise Tax (4.712%) are applied to the rental rate and additional charges quoted. If the tax percentages are changed by the State of Hawaii or County of Maui after a reservation is confirmed, we will contact you to collect the additional amounts due.
Standard Policies: Respect the stated maximum occupancy allowed please! This is very important, as all private homes in our collection are the valuable and beloved second homes of individual private owners. The availability and future right to enjoy our multi-million dollar vacation homes is conditioned upon each guest respecting the owner's pre-disclosed specific terms and conditions. Remove your shoes upon entering your home, as Hawaii's volcanic soil can stain carpets, tile, and fabrics. Step outside to smoke please. No pets on property. Rinse off sand and sun lotions before walking on interior floors sitting on furniture. Sun products will stain upholstery and linens and may damage furnishings. Weddings, receptions, and gatherings are strictly prohibited on any of our properties, due to residential zoning codes which discourage non-residential use, boisterous use causing noise complaints, excessive occupancy causing parking problems in the neighborhood, or any use involving additional non registered guests on the property.
Cancellation Policy: REFUND & CANCELLATIONS: GUEST UNDERSTANDS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE INITIAL PAYMENT BY GUEST IS NON-REFUNDABLE, UNLESS THE PROPERTY IS DAMAGED BY A CAUSE OTHER THAN GUEST NEGLIGENCE, OR IF THE PROPERTY IS OTHERWISE RENDERED UNFIT FOR HABITATION AND NO ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTE PROPERTY CAN BE ARRANGED. IF GUEST CANCELS THIS RESERVATION, A REFUND OF GUEST'S INITIAL PAYMENT MAY BE MADE, LESS A PRE-DISCLOSED CANCELLATION CHARGE, BASED ON THE GROSS RENTAL AMOUNT AND TAXES ORIGINALLY DUE FOR THE RESERVATION, IF THE ACCOMMODATION IS RE-RESERVED BY ANOTHER PARTY FOR THE SAME DATES AND AT THE SAME RATE. GUEST UNDERSTANDS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT OWNER/AGENT/PROPERTY MANAGER HAS NO OBLIGATION TO RE-RESERVE UPON GUEST'S CANCELLATION, ALTHOUGH REASONABLE EFFORTS MAY BE EXPECTED. LODGING CANCELLATION COVERAGE IS AVAILABLE FROM INDEPENDENT PROVIDERS AND IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. THIS RESERVATION MAY BE CANCELLED BY THE OWNER/AGENT/PROPERTY MANAGER, IN THE EVENT THE PROPERTY IS WITHDRAWN FROM A RENTAL PROGRAM AND IN THAT EVENT, THEIR LIABILITY TO THE GUEST IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT OF RENTAL MONIES PAID TO DATE ON THE ACCOUNT, AND SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT COVER THE COST OF AIR TICKETS AND OTHER TRAVEL COSTS.
